AOC BEAUMES-DE-VENISE
Domaine des Bernardins, once owned by Bernardin monks, became a family-run vineyard in the early 19th century.
Today, Romain Hall, oenologist by academic training and sixth-generation owner, manages 25 hectares of land in the Beaumes-de-Venise appellation, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
The estate focuses on Muscat Petits Grains, producing the renowned Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise (15 hectares), while 10 hectares are dedicated to red wine for AOC Beaumes-de-Venise.
Transitioning to organic farming, the estate emphasizes terroir protection and biodiversity through sustainable practices like soil cover cropping and planting native trees.
