CHÂTEAU CASCADAIS

AOC CORBIÈRES

A Vineyard in the Heart of Corbières

In 1992, the Courrian family, owners of Château Tour Haut-Cassan in Médoc, acquired Château Cascadais in the Corbières region. Philippe Courrian and his children, Véronique and Fabien, fell in love with this idyllic site nestled in the heart of Corbières.

The vineyard is surrounded by 50 hectares of garrigue, 10 hectares of cultivable land, 3 hectares of olive trees, and 25 hectares of vines. The name Château Cascadais is derived from the waterfall, or ‘cascade’ in French, that feeds a natural pool at the center of the property.

Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, with a thorough study of ripeness, and since 2009, the entire harvest has been certified organic.

« With years of experience, we produce pure and straightforward wines, vibrant in their youth but capable of aging for a decade. » Philippe Courrian
